Natural teeth aren’t necessarily as white as TV commercials suggest. It’s unfortunate that such an image has given rise to the misconception that white teeth are the embodiment of peak dental health, while any teeth with a hint of yellow—which is well within their natural hue—are often seen as unsightly.

On that note, they more or less use the same solutions, from veneers to dental implants. However, that’s where their similarities end. Even though… Continue reading Comparing Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry: Advantages of Cosmetic Dentistry

Two things usually come to mind when hearing or coming across the term “cosmetic.” The first is that it’s concerned with improving one’s appearance. As such, cosmetic dentistry is concerned with enhancing the appearance of teeth—nothing too complicated. The second, depending on where you stand, is that it’s either essential or optional.
